Today's fundraising effort raised over $1700 from the 250 breakfasts served.

 

As we progress down this path, we are undertaking a unique venture.  We will rely heavily on support from you.  Todays turn out showed the commitment of the community to support the Independent Hose Co. No. 5 which is very humbling.  I cannot find any words to summarize other than WOW!!

 

The 50/50 was won by Ron from the Tap Club $175

 

The $20 strip ticket paying $1200 to the winner on Feb 19, 2010 was introduced today.  This ticket has 100 tickets with 10 numbers, winner based on PA Lottery.  Total money collected is $2000 which $1200 is paid and the Fire Dept. raises $800.  The odds of winning is 100-1 and the pay out is 60-1.  If you are interested in this ticket please see a fireman or respond to this email. 

 

Billy Elmer tickets are now on sale.  $15.00 ea.  March 20, 2010.  Time to be announced (probably around 8pm start).  If you would like to have a reserved table identify at the time you reserve your tickets.  You can purchase tickets by calling the Presston Hose Club at 412-331-1449 (3pm - 10pm daily).  Limited number of tickets available (150 total) Hurry and reserve yours today.
